The brief

We make recurring stop-motion recipe films for TTC, The Three Cows, a cheese brand, through its agency, building each dish frame by frame.

How we shot it

A single film runs to hundreds of frames, shot one at a time. If the camera is nudged or a prop shifts, the whole sequence starts again, so the set is locked down and nothing is allowed to move but the food. Halloumi and vegetables go onto skewers beside a bowl of tzatziki, and eggs cook in tomato sauce with slices of grilled halloumi. The discipline is the deliverable.
